“Climate chaos in the South. The victims’ story” is a documentary (53’) about the impact of climate change on the people in the South, told by victims and experts in three continents: Latin-America (Ecuador), Africa (Burkina Faso and Togo) and Asia (Bangladesh). The cases in the film are complementary, in the sense that together they represent the most important aspects of climate change, that have a strangling impact on men’s livelihoods: the seasons that seem to have a mind on their own, the downpours and cyclones that destroy all that stands, the droughts that scorch the Earth, the rising sea that is taking back land, and the terrible lack of sweet water.
This is another film on climate change, indeed, but this one is about people, not polar bears or glaciers. Moreover, it is the victims in the South themselves in the first place, who tell about their own experience, while international experts (like Lord Nicholas Stern, Michael Gorbachev, Pavan Sukhdev, Jean-Pascal van Ypersele,…) sketch the broader context. All 50 of them together tell one huge story, the story of the staggering climate chaos in the South, and its consequences on the population. Farmers and fishermen, climate refugees and village chiefs, professors, UN experts and ngo engaged people testify to the fast-increasing poverty, and the life quality that’s going down fast. What originally appeared to be purely an environment problem, seems to become an unimaginable humanitarian catastrophe, that’s only just begun. That something has to be done to mitigate climate change is obvious, but that the South will also have to adapt, is inevitable. Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands leave their home, in search of a still viable place…

The Dead Will Guide Us is the story of how the dead and nature, particularly elephants, have brought the human and natural communities together for peacemaking and reconciliation.  In November 2004, everyday gandhis supported Voinjama's first post-war traditional Mourning Feast. Over 5,000 people peacefully attended. A cow and several chickens were sacrificed, providing food for the entire town. During a traditional Mourning Feast the community comes together to settle their differences and, with drumming and dancing, conflicts are sent 'across the river' with the dead to their final resting place. By eating from the common bowl, people pledge to live in peace.

Poisoning Paradise

For the first time, supported by scientific evidence, and indisputable footage, this film exposes the truth about a practice that breaches human rights, animal rights, and unveils a deception that will leave viewers in shock!
New Zealand claims to be clean, green, and 100% pure. But can a country that drops from helicopters, an attractive food mixed with 90% of the world's annual supply of the deadly pesticide 1080 - enough poison, every year, to kill its human population 5 times over - qualify for such an esteemed self evaluation? Can a country that relies on farming exports and tourism, afford to be so cavalier with one of the worlds most deadly poisons?
Poisoning Paradise lifts the lid on this bureaucratic practice, exposing an atrocity that will leave you in disbelief.....
