News - OSCAR winner in HEIFF

Starring in one of our first submissions is Marcia Gay Harden. Ms Harden won her Oscar alongside Ed Harris in the biopic, Pollock in 2001. He entry in the Heart Of England International Film Festival is 'Home' from American Princess LLC.

American entertainment legends Joan Rivers & Phyllis Diller feature in Larry Grossman's debut film, 'The Hipsters' which gets its English Premiere at the HoEiFF 2009. Directed by Mark Wade the movie also stars Jim Holmes, Mark Fite, Deborah Flora & Kara Zediker.

Featuring Keifer Sutherlnd 'An Unlikely Weapon' by debut director Susan Morgan Cooper brings together names as diverse as Bill Clinton, Rod Steiger and Tracy Ullman to this Award winning documentary about the force of the still image and its far reaching power.
