This International event is quite unique and celebrates the best that the globe has to offer in the fields of audio, video and print excellence. The Festivals's three sections are comprised of individual award categories. Click on the buttons in the left side panel for details.

Each entry is also eligible for a category Award the winners of which will be announced at a glittering Ceremony in October, 2010. The IFDA welcomes entries from professionals & amateurs who work on any platforms of delivery.

All entries will be made available on-line and the Award winners will be selected via a public vote conducted through this web site. Submissions are now open.

Roy Noble OBE - Chairman IFDA

The University here in Newport is delighted to be a partner in this Festival, which is at the cutting edge of the ongoing digital revolution. By using the internet with enhanced video and sound quality, the Festival will transcend the traditional boundaries of time and space, as well as fields of creative work traditionally regarded as completely separate.

Professor Anne Carlisle - President IFDA & Deputy Vice Chancellor Newport University

The University, with our International Film School Wales and our Departments of Photography, Games Design, Animation and Performing Arts, sees this as an exciting opportunity to further strengthen our links with talented and creative people from around the world. Newport, given its long track record of leadership in the Arts, and given its rich history together with its current drive to recreate itself, will make an ideal home for this international digital arts event.

Chris O'Malley - Pro Vice Chancellor, Univeristy of Wales Newport

Here at Real Radio, we're continually developing our website, we realise that the potential for even more interactivity, is very exciting. This is why we're really pleased to be associated with the International Festival of Digital Arts.

Ricky Durkin - Programme Director , Real Radio Wales.

The world has gone digital. We have to be at the 'cutting edge'.  What better way to advertise Wales in the digital global culture than by an International Competitive Festival?
